Hans, the movie concepts based on this amazing edit of Wanderer above the Sea of Fog
Just wanted to get back into the swing of things and practice (…after a rather long break due to technical difficulties) before jumping on the RotG bandwagon again
References/Inspiration from Lisa Keene’s stunning work, Minkyu Lee’s Wicked, Beth Turnsek, David Kawena and credits to the bunch of tumblr users who came up with sad headcanons and analyses
WE DONT TALK ABOUT THIS ENOUGH
Debating whether or not to make more of these because I’ve got new ideas but at the same time I don’t want to make it overly dramatic besides in light of recent tumblr posts/analyses/reviews I’ve read, I’m not sure they’d really make sense ugh
I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your gorgeous Hans paintings! They filled missing pieces from he fandom and aaaaah they're so nice to look at, you're super talented and kind of my tumblr crush now, heehee
How do I even start — I’m so honoured! Thank YOU from the bottom of my heart for letting me know! I almost didn’t to be honest but I swear I couldn’t be happier to see these paintings have touched so many of you. That is such an achievement and I’m so proud to hear that my take on his past was able to fill them. You’re so lovely I might cry, thanks again!
okay u r officially my favorite blog!! I noticed you have some rotbtd up but do you like frozen too?
And you’re my favourite anon!! Thank you so much! Yep it’s supposed to be a sideblog for my RotG stuff. ;)
I like it but to be entirely honest with you, I was a tiny bit disappointed by how they handled the story. Some plot lines felt a bit weak to me and it generally lacked something to make it top notch. I thought it has lot of potential and I feel like, if they’d spent another few years on it, Disney could have brought it so much further and given us so much more. That being said, in no way does it take away the amazingness of most of the scenes and I honestly can’t help but being IN LOVE with the characters, their personalities, the themes, the humour, the setting and the visual, the score and all these aspects :D So yeah I guess you could say I like it. :)
