Hi! I love your art and I wondered if you'd like to share the brushes you use, I'm working on a portfolio to get in art school and I'm seaching for some nice new brushes to use. Thanks a lot!

Hello – thank you! Of course! If that’s alright, I’m going to redirect you to some of the original brush packs I downloaded so there might more than the ones I’ve been using and than what you’re expecting but I hope these will be helpful regardless!

NOTE: Because of many people’s similar reaction to my previous post, I feel the need to clarify that this series isn’t intended to have a Hans-apologist kind of vibe. My purpose here is not to excuse his behaviour in the film or to get people to pity him. I just wanted to add a little bit of ‘depth’ where it was suggested there were stories behind his actions. I’m basically trying to figure out a possible background and progression that could explain why and how he was shaped into a villain, if we accept some villains are made rather than born. But I get some people want this character to be evil for the sake of being evil, and that is completely fine! So please don’t get too upset over these, keep in mind this is just my take on a hypothetic past, loosely based on hints from the movie and what Frozen directors have revealed so far.

Inspiration from rennydraws for the 8th panel and donc-desole for the last one.

Love the art but I stopped reading when I saw Hans Apologist… I really hate Anything Apologist ><.></.>

ISN’T intended to have a Hans apologist kind of vibe” haha but okay :)

How long does it take you on average to make a drawing like in your Hans photoset?

Anonymous

I’d say about one morning (or afternoon or evening) to make most of the work, maybe 3 to 5 hours? But I tend to correct, adjust or come up with new ideas afterwards so in the end, I’m not too sure how many hours go into these.

You shouldn't have to apologies because your art expresses a different possible take on Hans. The people that hate Hans give no apologies for their disrespect of art and cruelty to those who express a fondness for him. You should feel no need to explain yourself. Your art is beautiful and should be accepted. It angers me that so many people that have openly said how much they hate a character for his "cruelty" are attacking others as well. I hope you have a lovely day. Your work is amazing. -K

That is very true. :) But I’m quite happy I made my intentions clearer because less people missed the point this time and actually enjoyed it having that in mind. Your support is heart-warming nevertheless! I really do appreciate it, thank you! I hope you have wonderful day too!

If you made something like those Hans things but for Eugene from Tangled depicting why and how he came about becoming a thief, I will love you forever.
